Information

General:
Hartford is intended to be a “greenfield” site. There are no toilet facilities so you will need to arrange for your own chemical toilets.
We are hoping to install a reed bed sewage system to the site which would service a small limited two toilet unit.

The site is operated by the Seaton Sluice Scouts Group.
The 'Host District' for Nights Away Permit purposes is Blyth Valley District.

Please note that there is no vehicular access to the camping fields.

Parking is available at the farm and you are requested to walk the mile or so to the site itself. A limited vehiclular access to the entrance to the site proper is alowed so that kit can be transported to the site but note that access is poor in wet conditions and 4x4 drive is recommended.
You have been warned!

There is a strict route for accessing the site from the farm.
Way markers are available to show this route and a simple map can be downloaded
